Terms of Service.

Palmera - watchpalmera.com - Effective October 15, 2026

1. These terms

Palmera is a product of Novora Ventures, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("Novora," "we," "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Novora about your use of Palmera: the Palmera app for iPhone, the Palmera channel for Roku, watchpalmera.com, and the service that connects them. By creating an account or using Palmera, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Palmera.

Our Privacy Policy, at watchpalmera.com/privacy-policy, explains what we collect and how we use it. If you got the Palmera app from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the app.

Palmera is not directed to children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13. If you use Palmera for a business, such as a rental property or a venue, you agree to these terms for that business and confirm you are allowed to.

2. What Palmera is

Palmera shows a board of tiles on your TV, such as weather, radar, scores, nearby events, and details you add about your place. You set it up with the Palmera app for iPhone, and it shows on a Roku device paired to your account. Palmera is free to use.

Palmera depends on things we do not control: your TV and its settings, your Roku device and account, your iPhone, your internet connection, and the outside sources the tiles draw from. When a source or your connection is unavailable, a tile may show older information or nothing at all. We may change, add, or remove features, and we may stop offering Palmera.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a code we email you. There is no password. Anyone who can read your email, or who holds your signed-in phone, can use your account, so keep both secure. Tell us at support@novoraventures.co if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account.

4. Your screens

You pair a TV to your account with a code shown on the TV. You can unpair a TV or delete your account at any time, in the app or at watchpalmera.com/delete-account. Unpairing a TV removes that screen and everything set up on it. Deleting your account removes your account and every screen. Neither can be undone.

5. Your content

"Your content" is everything you type or choose in Palmera, such as welcome messages, names, house details, Wi-Fi details, recommendations, and tile choices. You keep ownership of your content. You give Novora permission to store, process, and display it on your paired TVs, only to run Palmera for you. That permission ends when your content is deleted, except for copies that remain briefly as the Privacy Policy describes.

You are responsible for your content. Only add content you have the right to use and that does not break the law or anyone else's rights. We do not review content before it appears on your screen. We may remove content, or end your access, if we believe it breaks these terms or the law.

6. What your screen shows

Anyone in the room can see your screen. Before you add something, decide whether you are comfortable with everyone who can see the TV seeing it.

  • Only add another person's name or details if you believe they would be comfortable with it, and remove them if they ask.

  • If you show your Wi-Fi network name and password, anyone who can see the screen can join that network.

  • If you use Palmera in a rental property or other business, you are responsible for following the laws, rules, and agreements that apply there.

7. Using Palmera fairly

Do not use Palmera to break the law or to harass, threaten, or deceive anyone. Do not try to get into accounts, screens, or systems that are not yours, interfere with Palmera, or get around its limits. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute what the tiles show, or copy, change, or reverse engineer the Palmera app, channel, or service, except where the law allows it.

8. Weather, safety, and information from others

Palmera shows information from public and licensed sources, including weather, radar, alerts, lightning and thunder reports, scores, and events. That information can be wrong, late, incomplete, or missing, and a screen may keep showing older information while it is offline.

Do not rely on Palmera for safety decisions. For storms, lightning, and other emergencies, follow official sources such as the National Weather Service and local authorities. A screen that shows no warning does not mean there is no danger.

Information from others belongs to them, and we may change or remove it at any time. Showing a place or event is not an endorsement of it.

9. Other companies' services

To use Palmera you also use services from other companies, including Roku, Apple, and your internet provider. Those are governed by your own agreements with them, and you must follow those agreements when you use Palmera. We are not responsible for those companies or their services.

10. Our rights

Palmera, including its name, software, and designs, belongs to Novora or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission, which we may revoke, to use the Palmera channel on Roku devices and the Palmera app on Apple devices that you own or control, only to use Palmera under these terms. We keep every right we do not expressly give you.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will post the updated terms here with a new effective date, and tell account holders by email before a significant change takes effect. If you keep using Palmera after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not, stop using Palmera and delete your account.

12. Ending

You can stop using Palmera and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Palmera. Sections 5, 8, and 10 through 16 continue after your access ends.

13. No warranties

PALMERA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, NOVORA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT PALMERA WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION IT SHOWS WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

14. Limits on our liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, NOVORA WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM PALMERA OR THESE TERMS, AND NOVORA'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM PALMERA OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

15. Law and disputes

Florida law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about Palmera or these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

16. General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Novora about Palmera. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part of these terms, we have not given up the right to enforce it later.
